Portraits by Michael W. Schoen are painted in the tradition of the Masters. The photo you supply is not copied but is used to help capture the likeness, features, character and personality of the subject. Therefore, include with the photo you send your suggestions regarding the subject and any specific instructions regarding elements to leave in or take out of the portrait.

A color print of the painting-in-progress will be submitted to you for your approval before final completion. You will then have the opportunity to request any changes you feel are necessary for your complete satisfaction. Using the photo and the information you provide, as well as his professional artistic discretion and experience, the artist will complete the painting to provide a portrait that will be a fine work of art, to be enjoyed and treasured for a lifetime.

• Choose a good, clear photo for the portrait you want. If you send several, I will choose the one for best results. Include instructions if you have a special request.
• Fill out the order form: indicate Size, Price, and Sales Tax, if any. Show the Total, 20% Deposit Enclosed, and Balance Due on delivery of the completed portrait.
• A color print of the completed painting will be submitted to you for your approval and complete satisfaction. Upon receipt of the balance due, the completed painting will be shipped to you.
